A winter break in the UK can be absolutely charming, an exciting way to spend time with your family and friends in a different environment away from home. As long as you are properly equipped and warmly dressed you will find it very enjoyable. What better time to book holiday accommodation in Paignton, to explore this Devon seaside resort or to take a ramble along the walking routes of the South West Coast.
If you fancy getting away for the festive period, why not treat you and your loved ones to a holiday on the English Riviera. Due to the sheltered location of the towns of Paignton, Torquay, Babbacombe and Brixham, you will find they have a mild climate ensuring that the resorts stay busy through the winter period.
The towns celebrate with winter wonderlands and amazing displays of Christmas lights. You will stumble across many Santa’s Grottos and with pantomimes at several of the theatres, a very enjoyable festive time is guaranteed. Many of the restaurants serve traditional Christmas lunch and dinner, although it may be advisable to pre-book your table as this time of the year will be extremely popular, especially with the local townsfolk as well as holidaymakers.
New Year is a perfect time for celebration on the English Riviera, with much merriment and festivities.
