5 September  2015 – Fishstock Festival

The English Riviera’s equivalent to Woodstock, this annual event is located in the pretty harbour of Brixham, on the new Fish Quay. Guaranteed to entertain the entire family, this Festival attracts thousands of tourists and locals every year. If you love seafood this is definitely the place to enjoy it, cooked by some of the best chefs in the area.

Fishing Trawler and Heritage Vessel Tours

You can take the opportunity of a tour around a fully functioning fishing trawler or visit some of the heritage vessels moored at the quay. There are plenty of fun activities for the kids with lots of stalls where you can buy food and drinks. Fresh fish will be in abundance caught my local fisherman, prepared by local fishmongers and cooked by local chefs.

The maritime quarter will fascinate children of all ages as well as adults and of course there will be live urban music performed throughout the Festival.

Fundraising for the Fisherman’s Mission

Fishstock Festival raises funds that are donated to the Fisherman’s Mission which is located close to the town’s Fish Market, so you can enjoy a great day out knowing it’s all for a good cause.
