Bedford Holiday Apartments in Paignton are already being booked for the first ever Torbay Air Show taking place between the 10th and 12th June 2016 at Paignton Green. It’s going to be one of the best events of the year with so much to see and do.
Aircraft and Aerobatics
In attendance will be the RAF famous Red Arrows who will perform their usual spectacular aerobatics on 12th June in the afternoon, and on display will be the following aircraft:
- Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 – flying on both the 11th & 12th June
- King Air B200
- Hawker Hurricane
- Avro Lancaster
- Spitfire

The Torbay Air Show organisers are expecting more than 150,000 people to attend. Gordon Oliver, the Mayor of Torbay is particularly delighted that military aircraft (some from the Battle of Britain) will be in the lineup. The full civilian programme will be available shortly. On the ground entertainment
Those who love modern jets will not be disappointed and there will be lots of on the ground entertainment, including a Typhoon flight simulator, whilst the flying activity is being enjoyed.
Whilst Torbay is one of the most popular holiday resorts in the UK, the Air Show will well and truly put the town on the map, according to Councillor Nicole Amil and we think she is absolutely right.
It’s a weekend not to be missed whether you are an aircraft enthusiast or away for a family break. Everyone will enjoy the flight simulators, the kids will love the funfair and there will be live entertainment too. Plenty of food and drink will be available with outside licensed bars and food stalls.
