English Riviera Wheel – Torbay
The Wheel is located in the Princess Gardens, near to the Pavilion in Torquay. At a height of almost 60 metres, higher than Nelsons Column, you will have unrivalled 360-degree views across the Bay.
Babbacombe Model Village, Miniature Rhino Trail – Torquay
This event is running until October 9th in conjunction with Paignton Zoo. Take part in this miniature Rhino Trail, running alongside the full-size varieties on display at various locations around the South Devon region.
Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust, Autumn Stars and Planets – Paignton
This one-day event on October 1st, 2016, is just the thing for budding astronomers. Join Chris Proctor and experience a night under the autumn sky, searching and viewing sights of the skies, including the planet Uranus, the Great Andromeda Galaxy and the Ring Nebula, using telescopes.
Paignton Zoo, Zooquest – Paignton
26 to 28 October from 2-4 pm each day – Participate in interactive quests featuring crafts, arts and drama. Take a look at the history of Paignton’s Zoo through the eyes of practising artists and young talent.

There are not many places around the UK where there is so much fun going on during the autumn months. We suggest that if you haven’t already booked your self-catering holiday accommodation, you don’t leave it much longer.
