Quality in tourism is recognised nationally as the leading Quality Assessment Service for both the tourism and hospitality industries in England.

Our accommodation is inspected annually to ensure we meet the standard laid down by the Tourism Board. Below is the summary following our inspection in July 2010.

OVERALL

Bedford Holiday Apartments provide good quality accommodation and on this visit achieved a 3 – 4 star grading. The apartments sit well in the grading with the exception of apartment 8 which has undergone a superior refurbishment therefore attaining a 4 star grading.

CLEANLINESS

The levels of cleanliness throughout the apartments was to a high standard despite all the apartments being occupied.

HIGHLIGHTS

The external appearance of the building is in very good order with the exposed red stone creating an attractive feature. There is excellent new signage for this year. The front area is adorned with colourful flower arrangements.

The apartments are situated in an ideal location within Paignton and are close to the seafront.

There is a good welcome and arrival procedure in place with all guests met on arrival and refreshments offered.
A wide selection of accessories and personal touches is provided within the apartments and the majority of the apartments are fitted with large or flat screen televisions. An information area in the entrance hall contains a comprehensive range of tourism leaflets.

Excellent new improvements have been made to the quality of the apartments since the last visit with new decoration, carpeting and kitchen equipment which has enabled one of the apartments to achieve a four star grading.
